Casinos are for adults only. In Canada the minimum age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Québec; elsewhere it depends on where you are.
The public rooms are turned towards the gorge, so the outer walls of the restaurants and upper corridors are glass from waist height. Stone and dark wood run through the lobby, and the ceilings are carried on wide piers. The theatre is a conventional hall with a raked floor and a full stage.
The resort opened in 2004 on the Canadian side of the gorge, above the Horseshoe Falls. The building steps down the escarpment, so its entrance level and its lowest floors are on different heights of ground, and a hotel tower rises from the upper part. A spa, a theatre, shops and a group of restaurants share the same structure, and covered walkways link it to the streets of the Fallsview district.
Niagara Falls, Ontario, sits across the river from its namesake in New York State, and the resort stands on the ridge above the tourist streets that lead down to the water. Clifton Hill and the older Table Rock buildings lie below. In cold weather the mist from the falls rises past the slope and is visible from a distance.
