This notice explains what mtaverse.org does with personal data. It is written in the spirit of the GDPR and applied to every reader, wherever they are.

Who is responsible

What the form collects

The contact form asks for a name, an email address, a subject chosen from a list, a message and a confirmation that you have read this notice. Nothing else is requested. Please do not put sensitive personal information into the message field.

Why, and on what basis

The data is used to read and answer your message and nothing else. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to correspondence, or your consent where you have given it. It is never used for marketing, never profiled and never sold or shared with a hotel.

How long it is kept

Correspondence is kept while the matter is open and for up to twelve months afterwards, so that we can follow up a correction. Server logs are kept for a short period, normally no longer than thirty days, and then deleted.

Server logs

Our host records the requests that reach the site: an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested, the referring page and the browser string. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure. They are not combined with form data and are not used to identify readers.

No tracking of any kind

There is no analytics on this site. No trackers, no advertising pixels, no third-party cookies, no social embeds and no fingerprinting. The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser: no cookie, no local storage, no session storage. One small script runs on the page, and its only job is to open and close the menu on a narrow screen.

Hosting and processors

The site is served by a hosting provider acting as our processor under a data processing agreement. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts that service and it receives your IP address as part of that request. We use no other third-party services.

International transfers

Where a processor handles data outside your own country, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses. Details are available from [Email].

Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, for its correction or erasure, for restriction of processing, for a portable copy, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Write to [Email] and we will answer within one month.

Complaints

If you believe your data has been handled wrongly, you may complain to the supervisory authority where you live or work, whichever country that is. You are welcome to raise it with us first.
